My name is Danilo Giglitto and I come from Lentini, a town in Sicily, Italy.
After a bachelor’s (2008) and a master’s degree (2011) in Sociology both from University of Catania, I moved to University of Aberdeen after being awarded the “Cultural Heritage and Digital Society” PhD scholarship (2013). I obtained my PhD in 2017 with a thesis titled Using wikis for intangible cultural heritage in Scotland: Suitability and empowerment.
